When I cook for guest

I get excited when someone accepts my invitation and come to visit me at home. It was same last weekend. My good colleague, who is going to leave us within a few months, accepted my invitation. I was preparing since the day before. Went for grocery shopping, and started cooking early in the morning. Prepared chicken, Rice with shrimps, and my special Mint-Lacchi. Afterwards I boiled the cauliflowers with salt and paper, and kept it cold in the fridge. When my good colleague arrived, I served him the Mint-Lacchi and some batter fried Cauliflowers. He enjoyed them. Meanwhile I severed the rice, chicken, poured more of the good Lacchi and we started eating for good.

When we were done eating, we sat next to my computer, and I showed him some new games. It remained me of old days when I used to do that in my country home whenever a friend came to visit me! It made me happy.

All in all, I am really thankful that he accepted my invitation. People rarely trust me enough to try my cooking. But, I can assure it is decent. I try to be careful considering the guest and try to keep the spice/hotness level of the food accordingly.

I hope I will be able to invite more good friends to my house! One can only hope so much.
